Course Outcomes
You will hold a Safety and Sea Survival Course Certificate of Competence as required for category 1 and recommended for category 2 races. This certificate is valid for 5 years from the date of the course.

Anyone going offshore whether fishing, cruising or in an offshore race.
50% of all crew in a Cat 1 race must have a current SSSC Certificate
